Sondra Mantle is a Nova Scotia based artist, with a background in digital and traditional painting.
I'm drawn towards the nuanced beauty and inherent melancholy of everyday life, with a deep appreciation for both the aesthetic and emotional layers of our world.
My creative focus at present is acrylic painting. I painted in my youth, and always felt it was where I was meant to be. Despite this, I dabbled in many art forms - most recently in digital art - but have finally found my way back to where I belong. Getting my hands dirty and holding brushes and palette knives. I have a passion for colour, light, and composition, and I'm driven to continuously grow as an artist.
